Nearly 100 Big Upsets In Week 5 Of The NCAA Season
All of the upsets from the fourth week of Division 1 collegiate wrestling.
The Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational added heaps of new upsets to the ever-growing list for this 2022-23 NCAA D1 wrestling season.
The usual caveats apply, as these results may not look like upsets by March (or earlier). Holler if we missed anything!

#16 Ethan Laird, Rider over #1 Max Dean, Penn State
Jesse Dellavecchia beat Ryan Deakin at the 2022 NCAAs, but that was a year before Deakin won an NCAA title, so someone with better historical data and/or knowledge than me will have to see if a Rider wrestler has ever beaten a reigning national champ before.
