North Carolina A&T Men's Basketball Schedule 2023-2024: What To Know
North Carolina A&T Men's Basketball Schedule 2023-2024: What To Know
NCAT men’s basketball team has a new head coach and a lot of new faces on the roster. Here’s a look at the Aggies’ schedule.
North Carolina A&T was part of a recent expansion of the Coastal Athletic Association that also included Hampton, Monmouth, Stony Brook and later Campbell.
The Aggies held their own in their CAA debut, finishing in the middle of the conference standings with an 8-10 record. Overall, N.C. A&T was 13-19 during the 2022-2023 campaign.
The team’s second year in the CAA will be under new leadership, as Monté Ross steps in as the 14th head coach in team history. The appointment was announced in April 2023.

Ross previously was an assistant coach at Temple, but he is familiar with the CAA, too – he was the head coach at Delaware from 2006-2016.
The preseason outlook doesn’t look good for the Aggies, however, so it’s possible they’ll take the court with something to prove.
They’ll be doing that with 10 new players, but Ross knows it will take time for the chemistry to work itself out and for the top talent and leaders to emerge, both in practice and against outside competition.
In the 2023-2024 CAA Men’s Basketball Preseason Poll, North Carolina A&T was picked to finish last among the 14 teams, while none of the team’s players received preseason recognition.
The two Aggies who received postseason honors last year – Kam Woods (second-team All-CAA) and Duncan Powell (CAA all-rookie team), transferred to North Carolina State and Sacramento State, respectively.
Here’s a look at the North Carolina A&T men’s basketball schedule for the 2023-2024 season.
