For 10 days, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico becomes a college softball mecca as some of the best teams in the United States, including three-time defending NCAA champion and No.1 Oklahoma Softball, arrive for the 2024 Puerto Vallarta College Challenge. 

The Sooners look to become a four-time champion this season and Patty Gasso's squad is loaded with talent as three-time All-American Tiare Jennings leads the list of talented players returning.

But Oklahoma has its challengers, and that includes teams also heading to Mexico to start the softball season. No. 18 Nebraska Softball, with OU Softball transfer Jordy Bahl, is also in the session 1 field. The two programs won't play each other at Puerto Vallarta , however, but OU will contend with No.11 Duke and No. 7 Washington.

The event is two weekends. After the first session, No. 5 Clemson, No. 19 Auburn, No. 23 South Carolina and No. 24 San Diego State will be in the field.
