Through two games, Oregon Baseball has shown that it's home to one of college baseball's best bullpens as the program competes at the College Baseball Showdown.
The Ducks trailed by four runs to Baylor before they scored seven runs across three innings and handed the game to the Oregon bullpen, once again, to secure the 7-4 win.
For the second day in a row, Oregon gave the ball to an All-Pac-12 pitcher, this time it was Logan Mercado, who pinned down the Bears in a 6-out save.
Mercado, who made 10 starts in 2023, joined fellow All-Pac-12 pitcher Grayson Grinsell out of the bullpen. Grinsell pitched three scoreless innings against Oklahoma on the first day and Saturday belonged to Mercado.
