College Baseball Rankings On March 4: Campbell vs. UNC Baseball This Week

CAA Baseball Rankings didn't move much in most polls in Week 3. But the polls set up a big game for No. 22 Campbell vs. North Carolina Baseball on March 5.

The third poll of the of the 2024 College Baseball season saw no changes in the top-10 at D1Baseball. Wake Forest Baseball (10-1) remained at No. 1, while Arkansas Baseball (9-2) stayed at No. 2. 

The Demon Deacons started last week with a 12-1 win over North Carolina A&T before winning three more games against Binghamton (twice) and Elon. 

Arkansas, armed with one of the best wins in the country in the form of a 5-4 victory over Oregon State at the Kubota College Baseball Series Weekend 2, picked up wins over Grambling and Murray State last week. 

Overall, not one team in the top-10 of the D1 poll changed spots. The biggest change in the poll as a whole was Texas Baseball (7-4) which went from No. 15 to No. 24. 

Campbell Baseball (8-3) of the CAA stayed in the rankings at No. 22. Campbell hosts No. 16 North Carolina (10-2) at 6 p.m. EST on March 5.

When Is The 2024 MLB Draft?

The 2024 MLB Draft is part of MLB All-Star week and will be in Arlington, Texas, where the World Series champion Texas Rangers are hosting the All-Star Game. 

The All-Star Game is July 16. The official date of the draft has yet to be announced, but the 2023 MLB Draft began the Sunday before the All-Star Game, which was played on Tuesday.
