Thomas Gilman FloFilms documentary. Thomas Gilman: Love Me or Hate Me.
Thomas GIlman is one of the most interesting wrestlers competing today. The three-time NCAA All-American dominated the field during the college season but hit a bump in the road in the NCAA semifinals.
Gilman, of course, didn't compete in the U.S. Open but was able to secure a spot at the World Team Trials by winning the Last Chance Qualifier and then pulling off the unthinkable, beating three NCAA champions and a runner-up before taking out former teammate and two-time world team member Tony Ramos in two straight matches to make the world team.
Recently, FloWrestling visited Iowa City, Iowa, to get to know "Gilman The Villain" a little better.
What we learned is that most people only know half of Thomas Gilman. They know the guy who they see on the mat and in post-match interviews. They know Gilman as an intense competitor who has no filter and says what he thinks.
People's minds will be blown when they get a full view of Gilman and find out that he is more than just a tough guy.
Check out these photos from the shoot:

There is no act. He puts on no front, and he doesn't say things to get people worked up. He simply says what he thinks.
