BIG EAST Announces FloSports Agreement
One-year streaming deal for BIG EAST women’s basketball games for the 2020-21 season.
NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference has announced a one-year deal with leading sports streaming service, FloSports, to become the digital home of BIG EAST women’s basketball, bringing elite collegiate competition to a global audience. The agreement provides a platform for all women’s basketball games that stream on the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) presented by SoFi. All conference tilts not designated for television are streamed on BEDN, accounting for upwards of 75 regular-season contests annually. FloSports will also carry BIG EAST original content such as “Fast Break”, the Conference’s weekly women's basketball features show.

The BIG EAST is in its eighth year of its comprehensive national television agreement with FOX Sports, which airs a total of 15 regular-season women’s basketball games annually, as well as the quarterfinals, semifinals and final of the BIG EAST Tournament presented by Jeep. Additionally, CBS Sports Network airs two regular-season BIG EAST contests annually, while a recently announced agreement with SNY provides additional game coverage for UConn women’s basketball.
BEDN on FloSports tips off on Friday, Dec. 4, with a pair of BIG EAST openers as Providence visits Marquette at 3 p.m. ET, and Xavier hosts Creighton at 6 p.m. Action continues the following day with the Friars at Butler at 4 p.m., before Sunday sees three more contests: Creighton at Butler (4 p.m.), Xavier at No. 20/19 DePaul (4 p.m.) and Villanova at St. John’s (7 p.m.).
