Each year, the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals attracts many of the biggest names in motorsports. In 2022, the star power will be stronger than ever before with a strong contingent of drivers from NASCAR's top three series competing in the prestigious event in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Let's take a look at the NASCAR drivers who will be taking a shot at winning the coveted Golden Driller trophy.

Kyle Larson (Qualifying Night: Tuesday)

For many years, a Chili Bowl win eluded Kyle Larson. It was the one race that continued to slip out of his fingertips every time it seemed to be within reach. Now, he enters the 2022 Chili Bowl as the two-time defending race winner and a popular pick to win his third straight. The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion will return to Tulsa looking to begin his 2022 racing season with a bang.

Christopher Bell (Qualifying Night: Thursday)

Prior to Kyle Larson's two victories, the Chili Bowl Nationals were owned by Christopher Bell. The Oklahoma native is a three-time race winner and loves the Chili Bowl more than any other race on his schedule. This year, he'll be reunited with Keith Kunz Motorsports for a run at his fourth career Golden Driller trophy.

Chase Elliott (Qualifying Night: Monday)

After making his Chili Bowl debut one year ago, the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion will return to the event with more dirt racing experience on his resume. Last year, Elliott failed to qualify for the A-Main on his preliminary night after spinning during the B-Main. That placed him in an F-Main for Saturday's alphabet soup, where he failed to move forward. Since last year's race, Elliott has competed in a handful of Midget events and made his Sprint Car debut, gaining valuable experience in open-wheel cars on dirt.

Alex Bowman (Qualifying Night: Monday)

Alex Bowman, a four-time NASCAR Cup Series winner in 2021, returns to the Chili Bowl after a one-year hiatus. During his last Chili Bowl appearance in 2020, Bowman advanced from his C-Main to a B-Main before coming up a few spots shy of transferring to the main event. Bowman's race team, Alex Bowman Racing, will also field cars for C.J. Leary and Jake Swanson.

Chase Briscoe (Qualifying Night: Monday)

The 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year returns to the Chili Bowl Nationals after coming up just shy of transferring to the A-Main in his last two attempts. With seven cars transferring to the A-Main, Briscoe finished ninth in his B-Main last year and eighth in 2020. He'll look to get over the hump and compete in the big show this year.

Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. (Qualifying Night: Friday)

Over the last 16 years, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. has been a fixture at the Chili Bowl having missed only one year (2013) during that time. The JTG Daugherty Racing driver has qualified for the A-Main seven times in 15 attempts, with a career-best finish of seventh in 2021.

Ryan Newman (Qualifying Night: Friday)

"The Rocketman" will return to Tulsa for the third straight year with hopes of qualifying for his first A-Main feature. Newman finished sixth in a G-Main last year and finished seventh in a D-Main during his Chili Bowl debut in 2020. He'll once again be driving for Clauson-Marshall Racing, a team he became a co-owner of in 2017.

Carson Hocevar (Qualifying Night: Wednesday)

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Carson Hocevar will make his Chili Bowl Nationals debut in 2022. Hocevar, who qualified for the Truck Series playoffs in 2021, enters the race with minimal dirt experience after working his way up through the asphalt Late Model ranks.

Jesse Little (Qualifying Night: Tuesday)

Like Hocevar, NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Jesse Little will also be making his Chili Bowl debut. The former ARCA Menards Series East winner will be racing a special Shriners Hospital paint scheme.

Jesse Love (Qualifying Night: Monday)

After coming up just shy of being the highest finishing Chili Bowl rookie last year, Jesse Love will return to the race looking to improve on a 13th-place finish in a B-Main. The 2021 ARCA Menards Series West champion will once again be racing for powerhouse team Keith Kunz Motorsports.

Ryan Ellis (Qualifying Night: Friday)

Ellis, a part-time NASCAR Xfinity Series competitor, will be making his fourth career Chili Bowl Nationals attempt.

Tanner Berryhill (Qualifying Night: Wednesday)

Berry, another part-time NASCAR Xfinity Series driver, enters the Chili Bowl for the 10th time since 2010.

This year's Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals will once again be streamed live on FloRacing up until the C-Mains on Saturday night. Race fans can watch all of the preliminary action, as well as Saturday's alphabet soup all the way to the D-Mains, with a FloRacing subscription.
