After Who's Number One on September 9, the Elite 8 Duals will set the stage for Super 32 like no other event can. It's exclusive. Only 12 teams are allowed in, but those 12 teams will bring an unbelievable number of ranked high school wrestlers. These duals have only been around for a couple of years, but they've already become one of the top stops on the calendar for D1-bound recruits.

This year's Elite 8 field isn't quite set, but the athletes who have already committed to compete are some of the nation's best. Before digging into this year's rosters, which are still being finalized, get a load of these stats about the current field:

• 69 of 188 wrestlers registered so far are in the top 20 in the country
• 40 wrestlers registered are in the top 10 in the country
• 37% of athletes currently in the event are ranked in the top 20
• 21% of athletes in the event are ranked in the top 10 in the country
• 29% of the nation’s top tens are in this event
• 25% of the nation’s top 20 are in this event
• 12 of 15 weights have multiple top 10 ranked wrestlers
• 6 weights have multiple top 5 ranked wrestlers
• 126 lbs has 6 top 10 ranked wrestlers
• 33 wrestlers in the field are already committed to 17 different division 1 programs
