The South Atlantic Conference announced its Women’s Soccer Players of the Week for matches played during the first week of the 2022 season.  Catawba forward Hannah Dunn was named the offensive player of the week, while Tusculum defender Rosy Wodhams was named defensive player of the week.

Dunn, a sophomore from Concord, N.C., led the No. 21 Catawba Indians to a pair of season-opening victories last week. She scored three goals with two assists for eight points on the week. She opened the season with a goal and an assist against Tampa. She then followed up that performance with two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist versus Barton.

Wodhams, a graduate student from Ware, England, led the Pioneers to a 2-0 start, their first since the 2007 season. She scored two goals on the week, including the game-winner for Tusculum against Young Harris. She also anchored the defensive line that allowed just one goal on eight shots over two games.
