Seth Gross (61 kg), Yianni Diakomihalis (65 kg), and Kyle Snyder (97 kg) wrestle in the semifinals while Thomas Gilman (57 kg), Kyle Dake (74 kg), and J'den Cox (92 kg) go for gold. The action begins at 11 a.m. Eastern on FloWrestling.

SEMIFINALS (61 kg): Rei Higuchi (JPN) over Seth Gross (USA), 14-7

First period: Higuchi is in on a shot right away and Gross fends it off for 30 seconds but stays with the single and gets out to a 2-0 lead. Higuchi shoots a sweep single but Gross is exposed during the scramble. Gross gets a reversal but Higuchi still has a 4-1 lead. Higuchi attempts an arm throw but it's ruled a slip. Higuchi leads 4-1 into the break.

Second period: Gross finally scores exposure off of a scramble and cuts the lead to 4-3. Higuchi shoots, Gross scores a takedown but it's 2-2 on the exposure, and Gross leads, 7-6. Higuchi shoots again and scores two on an exposure but the American corner challenges the call. Challenge is lost so Higuchi is up 10-7 and a caution along with the lost challenge so Higuchi is up 10-7. Higuchi scores a pair of exposures late and wins 14-7. Gross will wrestle for bronze.

SEMIFINALS (65 kg): Yianni Diakomihalis (USA) tech. -Sebastian Rivera (PUR), 10-0

First period: Diakomihalis scores a takedown and a gut for a 4-0 lead. Yianni scores a second takedown and two guts to end the match, 10-0.  Diakomihalis wins 10-0 and will wrestle for gold tomorrow.

SEMIFINALS (97 kg): Kyle Snyder (USA) over Mohammadhossein Mohammadian (IRI), 4-1

First period: Quick shot off of the whistle and he eventually converts for a takedown and a 2-0 lead. Snyder scores a third point on an activity clock violation for a 3-0 lead into the break.

Second period: Mohammadian finally gets on the board using an underhook and charging Snyder out of bounds. Snyder still leads, 3-1. Snyder picks up an additional step-out point for a 4-1 win. Snyder is back to the World/Olympic finals for the seventh time. 

GOLD MEDAL MATCH (57 kg): Zelimkhan Abakarov (ALB) over Thomas Gilman (USA), 7-2 

First period: Two on the board for Abakarov for an arm throw out of the gates then he adds two more on a go-behind for a 4-0 lead. Gilman called for caution and one on the bottom so Abakarov is up 5-0. Gilman gets on board with a step-out off of a single to cut the lead to 5-1 with 52 seconds remaining. No scoring for the remainder of the period. Abakarov takes a 5-1 lead into the break.

Second period: Abakarov skies Gilman and secures a takedown out of bounds for a 7-1 lead within the first 20 seconds of the period. Gilman gets a step-out with 1:50 to go to cut the lead to 7-2. Abakarov holds on for a 7-2 win and the gold medal. Thomas Gilman wins silver, which is his fourth World/Olympic medal.

GOLD MEDAL MATCH (74 kg): Kyle Dake (USA) over Taimuraz Salkazanov (SVK), 3-1

First period: Dake in on a shot and finally scores out of bounds with a step-out. Dake scores a two-point takedown out of bounds for a 3-0 lead with 3:45 to go. Dake takes a 3-0 lead into the break. 

Second period: Caution and one against Dake was finally confirmed but Dake still leads 3-1 win with over a minute to go. Dake's impeccable defense is too much and Kyle Dake wins his fourth World title with a 3-1 win. 

GOLD MEDAL MATCH (92 kg): Kamran Ghasempour (IRI) over J'den Cox (USA), 2-0 

First period: Ghasempour powers through on a shot for a 2-0 lead with a minute to go in the period and will take that score into the break. 

Second period: No scoring in the final period but lots of exchanges and a few moments of chippiness but Ghasenpour wins 2-0. Cox wins silver, which is his sixth medal since 2016.
