DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Myson Darden, Elon
Senior | Defender | Raleigh, North Carolina / Leesville Road
Darden helped Elon improve on its national lead in shutouts with two more in a 1-0-1 week, while also contributing on the score sheet.
The senior from Raleigh played 74 minutes of a scoreless draw against High Point on Wednesday, before playing all 90 minutes and tallying a goal and an assist in Saturday’s win over Drexel.

AT THE TOP? DEFENSE
The conference’s top two defenses - and two of the nation’s best - are the top teams in the CAA standings through four Saturdays.
Elon’s seven shutouts in 10 games is tied with Syracuse for the most nationally, with the 70% shutout percentage, just ahead of UNCW, which ranks third at 66.7% (6-of-9).
UNCW’s Gabriel Perrotta ranks eighth nationally with an .868 save percentage, while Elon’s Ryan Bilichuk is 11th at .862.
