The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears and the Wingate Bulldogs will represent the South Atlantic Conference in the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Super Region 2 Regional, the NCAA announced Monday.

Lenoir-Rhyne is the No. 2 seed, and Wingate is the No. 7 seed.

The Bulldogs will take on the No. 10 Converse in the opening round Friday  at 11 a.m. at host Lenoir-Rhyne. The winner will advance to play the Bears on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Advancing teams will move on to the NCAA Men’s Soccer third and quarterfinal rounds Nov. 17-20. 

The NCAA Men’s Soccer semifinals and final will take place Dec. 1 and Dec. 3 at Interbay Soccer Stadium in Seattle as part of the 2022 NCAA Division II National Championship Festival.
