Rafael Lovato Jr. returned to Brasileiros for the first time in a decade to try his hand at the masters division, showing off his timeless jiu-jitsu in the process.
Lovato is a legend among Americans at the IBJJF Brasileiros. In 2009, he became the first American in history to win Brasileiros as a black belt. He also stands as the only American ever to win the absolute division at Brasileiros (2013), and the only American to win the tournament more than once.
