Braeden Davis, one of the top lightweight prospects in the country, has narrowed his college decision to five schools. After proving his mettle at Fargo and defending his #1 ranking at Who's Number One, Davis has become a must-have recruit for many of the nation's top prospects.

Davis' top five list includes two in-state options in Michigan and Michigan State as well as three out-of-state options in Minnesota, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma.
As a class of 2023 recruit, Davis is a good fit for these programs. Minnesota's Pat MaKee is currently ranked #5 at 125 lbs, but he only has two years of eligibility remaining. Michigan State's Rayvon Foley sits at #14 but is a senior as are Michigan's #19 Jack Medley and Oklahoma's Joey Prata, an Honorable Mention selections in the rankings. Oklahoma State's Trevor Mastrogiovanni is a sophomore with the most eligibility remaining, but he also has room to grow into 133.
The bottom line is that Braeden Davis would add a significant light weight option to any of these five programs. The Dundee, Michigan product has made himself a must-have prospect to several of the nation's top traditional programs.
