If you shoot through his legs, as opposed to at the knee like you're supposed to, you can still finish by swishering your feet away from your opponent so that he can't grab them and try to hit funk. Next, you need to drive backwards, replace your post hands with your attack hand and then build up before attacking the angle to finish.
