USA Wrestling - The four WCAP athletes slated for Captains’ Cup competition on Feb. 13-14 have withdrawn due to Covid protocol. Desiree Zavala has also bowed out due to injury.

The Captains' Cup, an event featuring many of the best women in the United States, is right around the corner. Teams for the event will be decided by a draft, and USA Wrestling has just released the athletes who are eligible to be drafted at 50 kg.

The Women's College Wrestling Association's 2020 championships will also boast competitions between eight of America's top senior-level women's wrestlers.

With the World Championships wrapping up this past weekend, it's time to recap how our women fared in Nur-Sultan. We had two new Americans crowned World champions, along with a third repeating as champ. As a team, USA finished third behind Japan and Russia.
