It's hard to overstate how much exciting college wrestling took place this past weekend. All seven conferences held their championships over the last few days and determined the majority of the qualifiers for the 2024 NCAA Championships that will take place in less than two weeks in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Big Ten, the nation's toughest and deepest college wrestling conference will hold their championship on Saturday and Sunday, March 9-10 in the Xfinity Center on the University of Maryland's College Park campus, and no we have the pressed for the tournament!

The Minnesota Christmas tournament rarely disappoints due to the high caliber of competition in Minnesota and its surrounding states. Take a look at this year's pre-seeds with national rankings where applicable. Every weight is tough, and several weights have multiple nationally-ranked wrestlers. Pay special attention to 182 lbs and 195 lbs. It's also worth noting that Gigi Bragg, the #12 ranked wrestler in the women's national rankings will toe the line in the boys' division at this tournament.

Opening weekend is an exciting time to see who made jumps in the off-season and who is still isn't in postseason shape yet. College wrestling season is finally here! Things get kicked off this weekend with the likes of the Southeast Open, Princeton Open, and Clarion Open among other events.

There's nothing quite like Super 32. This year's field includes over 60% of the nation's 280 top-twenty-ranked wrestlers. That group includes eight of 14 #1's and six weights where the two highest-ranked wrestlers at the weight could square off for the number one spot. U20 Nationals (formerly known as UWW Junior Nationals) is one of my favorite age-level tournaments every year. The top high school upperclassmen get to test themselves against the best first or second year college guys who are often hungry to compete coming out of redshirt. It's the first step in making the Junior World Team as the winner of this event will earn an automatic berth to the best-of-three wrestle-off series against the World Team Trials challenge tournament champion in June.

the U20 division at the US Open attracts some of the most ambitious high schoolers and young college wrestlers, and the U17 World Team Trials are one of the pinnacles in the sport. As a result, more than 100 ranked high school wrestlers will be in action in Las Vegas this weekend. Check out the ranked wrestlers and their full fields below.

The Journeymen World Classic offers a unique opportunity to participate in a freestyle event with wrestlers from across the globe, all before the Cadet World Team Trials, which will take place at the US Open.
