Genevieve LaCaze Florida takes 2nd in Steeple at 2012 NCAA Outdoor Champs

After her semi-final interview Genevieve LaCaze said that she was going to after Shalaya Kipp for the NCAA title and Olympic A standard. Although she missed the standard, we give huge props to Genevieve for not only telling the field her plan but then delivering on her promise. LaCaze fought through the final barrier to give Shalaya Kipp her toughest race of the season. LaCaze closes out her career as a Gator with her highest runner-up honor at the NCAA Championships and a PR.
