For the first Final X card of 2022, Greco-Roman is giving the people a generous gift in the form of five returning World Team members as well as three rematches from last year’s Trials.

Thomas Gilman vs Vito Arujau is blossoming into one of my favorite senior-level domestic rivalries in the sport. Back in 2017 at a bar in Waverly, Iowa, Gilman said talked about how a "rivalry" that is one-sided isn't a rivalry at all. With Gilman owning the series 3-0, this would imply that it isn't much of a rivalry. While I somewhat agree with Gilman, I still can't wait to see these two go to war at Final X. Gilman will once again be a heavy odds-on favorite to win, but I'm not counting Vito out.

With the World Team Trials Challenge Tournament in our rearview mirror, next stop is Final X presented by Tezos. The first edition will be Friday in Stillwater, followed by the second edition next Wednesday in New York.

The best American wrestlers will be fighting for World Team spots in two locations: Stillwater, Oklahoma and New York, New York. But from where did all these incredible wrestlers come? Check out the maps below to find out!

With wrestlers across three age divisions and two styles, Ohio State fans will have plenty of wrestling to watch at the US Open. Starting Friday, April 29, Ohio State fans can get a good look at where some current wrestlers stack up on the senior ladder and how a couple of key guys from one of the best recruiting hauls we’ve seen recently will compete at the college level.

There's no bigger event on the opening weekend of NCAA wrestling than the Michigan State Open. With double-digit D1 teams, we're sure to see incredible matches and rankings shakeups. This weekend, Lincoln, Nebraska plays host to the U23 World Team Trials, an event featuring some top NCAA athletes vying for World Team spots.
