Yaraslau Slavikouski will enter the postseason at the top of the EIWA 285-pound rankings and will be looking to punch through to the podium at the NCAA tournament for the first time in his career. Another instance of the injury bug here for Cornell at 285 pounds, Lewis Fernandes will miss the postseason for the Big Red as well and Brendan Furman enters the 285-pound rankings at #8. Dorian Crosby picked up a win over Grady Griess but dropped an 11-0 major decision to Nathan Taylor which brought him up to the #4 ranking. Taylor picked up a 5-0 decision over Travis Stefanik while Stefanik picked up sudden victory wins over both Cory Day and Ben Goldin, which set the stage for the top eight in this weight class.
